Jon Diurba US

My name is Jon Diurba and I have been mountainboarding for about 10 years. In the later part of my college career I started to fall away from the sport and lost interest updating a video website. I feel rejuvenated now and I am excited to see what I can bring to the sport during this new season.

I am often times referred to as “The Professor” and my friends push pretend glasses up their noses and mock me in a geeky voice, but what can I be upset about they’re calling me smart. I created a website back in late 1999 and started hosting videos of myself and a few other riders. This was about 5 years before You Tube was invented. This helped me make a name for myself in mountainboarding and has given me many opportunities that I otherwise would never have experienced.

I invite you to watch my videos, comment on them, and share with me anything that you find to be interesting. My original goal when I first started publishing videos online was to create content that had never been seen by both active and inactive participants of mountainboarding.  I ended up creating a visual representation of mountainboarding and the way I saw it. Now I am much more interested in spreading the sport by inspiring current riders and teaching new riders to reach their truest potential.
